SUMMARY
We built an environmental sensor that connects to WiFi to provide real-time information through a native app. The sensor also connects to some smart thermostats to reduce energy usage in a room, house, or building.
THE TEAM
Included visual designers, product manager, and software engineer.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Living spaces usually have one thermostat to control the temperature of multiple rooms, which causes them to work with inadequate data. At the same time, households have other sensors such as smoke, CO, and humidity, which are placed separately as well. With this product, we aim to address the redundancy of variable sensors and explore the capabilities of have a sensor that measures all of the variables mentioned, in multiple rooms.
PROJECT GOALS
1
To provide realtime data of an entire living space to a central source in order to reduce energy usage.
3
Find a solution to communicate this data to a central source and to the user.
2
To collect environmental data and reduce the redundancy of having multiple sensors of different brands.
4
Make a user friendly interface that informs people of their energy consumption.
